MOTORIZED ROLLING VARIABLE ACOUSTIC BANNER
Our acouRoll Banner Systems includes Banner Machines, Motor Starters/MCPs, and Controller.
Roll banners are designed with 2 layers of fabric and a 3” bottom tube weight to maintain fabric panel spacing and introduce tension to the fabric surface for optimum acoustic control. Roll banners deploy to full or preset lengths, and retract and store neatly in machine frame. The sleek and compact design options for pricing flexibility.
All our banners are built with acouStaCorp 100% Wool (DFR, 550gsm) for a high density weave without nap or synthetic sheen. Wool is recommended by acousticians as an effective sound absorber across a wide range of frequencies. Click here for to find out more.
Our banners are independent lab certified for absorption coefficients under ASTM-C423- test reports available upon request.
The 2016 life cycle test benchmark was made at 15,000 continuous cycles, representing a service life of 20 years with twice daily operation. Testing was concluded at 38,000 continuous cycles without failure.
Our heavy-duty aluminum machine frame has removable polyvinyl infill panels and a standard mill finish aluminum- custom enclosures and closure panels available.
The integral mounting system is built into the frame, making it easy for ceiling or wall installation- other custom mounting options are also available.
For the RW12 and RW20 series, the motors are equipped with 1-Phase, 120VAC Internal tube motor with standard travel speeds between 27 fpm – 30 fpm.
For the RW30 series, the motors are equipped with a 3-Phase, 208VAC, 60 Hz external gear motor with a minimum service factor of 1.25 with standard travel speed is nominal 34 fpm.
All machines are designed with bottom access to the motor and limit switch for adjustments and routine maintenance. Optional front access available.

RW30 – seamless fabric panel up to 58” wide x up to 30’ tall
RW30-MB2 – single machine frame with two (2) seamless fabric panels
Wide width option – up to 15’ wide fabric panel up to 20′ tall (RW12 & RW20) or 30′ tall (RW30) with horizontal seams spaced approximately 60” apart

acouRoll Control Options
