Smart Color

Apollo's Smart Color™ scrollers provide reliable, accurate performance in a variety of applications - from theater to corporate events to live concerts. Smart Color™ scrollers are available in three sizes with various mounting plate options for use with a variety of fixtures. Power supplies, standard and custom gel strings, and cables are also available.

Smart Color™ scrollers are made from durable lightweight aluminum construction that provides application flexibility. They offer large apertures to ensure maximum beam angles and light output. Precision motor bearings allow for whisper quiet operation. Other standard features include state-of-the-art digital circuitry with rotary DMX addressing and an automatic scrolling mode to continuously scroll or frame-by-frame step through each color at various speeds without the need for a lighting console. Each Smart Color™ scroller comes with pre-installed Apollo Gel Shield to extend gel string life and a standard mounting plate of your choice. The gel string of your choice is also pre-loaded for additional convenience. A universal mounting plate that adjusts between 5.75-10" is available for model 7.25.

Remotely dial up any color in seconds without the traditional worries of gels, scrolls, noise or ladders. The unique ColorCommand™ color-changing PAR/wash light uses a patented color-mixing system that incorporates automated color-changing and beam-angle control. ColorCommand’s dichroic glass gives you maximum color consistency so custom colors won’t fade or change over time.

Nexera is an incandescent ellipsoidal zoom spotlight with a dichroic CMY color changer. The dichroic glass will not fade, burn, or tear over time. So color consistency is assured during years of use. The chosen color is easily selected using any two of the three DMX control channels. Color fades are gracefully accomplished with your choice of color path from one color to the next. The Nexera zooms from 25 to 40 degrees with handy detents at 26 and 36 degrees. It has four stainless steel, teflon coated shutters with an effects slot for pattern rotators or other accessories. Convection cooling is used throughout the entire family, meaning no fan(s) for absolutely silent scenes.

Nexera is an incandescent fixture with a dichroic CMY color changer. Color consistency over time is assured, because the glass filters will not fade with heat or age. The chosen color is easily selected using any two of the three DMX control channels. Color fades are gracefully accomplished with your choice of color path from one color to the next. Using a 575 watt bulb, the output is over 8000 Lumens. Changing the beam angle is done by moving one or both lenses to optimize output over the range of beam shaping. To maintain a cool beam, a dichroic reflector is used to absorb most of the infrared. Convection cooling is used throughout the entire family, meaning no fan(s) for absolutely silent scenes.
