Apollo gels are double-coated because many designers appreciate the color consistency found in the double-coated process. 113 total are colors available – this includes 11 diffusion colors and 17 color corrections. 20" x 24" sheets are currently available. Apollo Gel is made of double coated, heat-resistant polyester.

Dichroic glass filters project dramatic lighting effects in rich saturated colors by reflecting unwanted wavelengths back to the light source. As dichroic filters are environmentally durable and their performance will not deteriorate over time, they are ideal for permanent installations, especially architectural applications.

Apollo dichroic filters are highly color selective, producing brighter, cleaner saturated color. They will not melt, wrinkle, shrink or fade like gel filters. They are low maintenance, have long life and high value. Apollo offers 34 stock colors, plus UV Transmission, Hot Mirror, CTO & CTB. Most are 1.1mm, with select colors available in 1.75mm.

Roscolux is Rosco’s premier range of color filters. It is comprised of a range of more than 130 colors and 30 diffusions. Roscolux is manufactured using a unique technology to insure the longest possible life under hot lights. Three discrete layers are combined in a tri-extrusion process. By sealing the colored layer between two microscopically thin layers of clear film, dye migration is minimized and effective life is extended.

Roscolene which is a popular choice for lighting situations where cooler incandescent lights are used. Its wide range of saturated colors are widely used by graphic artists and other in the display industry.

Rosco’s range of Permacolor dichroic filters offers designers the opportunity to choose high quality dichroic glass color filters that exactly match the color sample. The Standard Series includes a choice of 24 mostly vivid and saturated colors. The Architectural Series is based on popular Roscolux colors and contains more subtle, pale color tines useful for accent lighting widely used in interior and exterior architectural lighting projects.
